Its Monday again. We office goers hate Mondays so much. Realization that it is Monday morning takes life out of us. I blinked two-three times to see the time on my cell phone. it was 6:03 in the morning. God, I took three minutes to wake up. I stretched my body to fully wake up and stepped off from my bed. A new battle was about to begin. Yes, deciding on what to wear to work was a big challenge. I had recently gained weight and the options had become very few. Also, my normal team member salary didn’t allow me to shop every month after I had spent a significant share of my salary on my accommodation and food.
People in service industry are what machines in manufacturing. Go to any factory and you’ll find tenths of machines lined up. Here, hundreds of so called human resources are lined up. Similar desktops. Similar workstations. Similar chairs. You stand on your place and you see numerous heads immersed on their computer screens and hands working frivolously on keyboards. Also, like machines we have our breaks when we heat up and our maintenance and greasing in form of team lunch and team events.
